Deck overview

Bolg of the North commands a Rakdos Amass and Goblin/Orc tribal deck that combines Tolkien-themed flavor with aggressive aristocrat synergies. The deck focuses on creating and enlarging a single tall Army creature token using redundant amass cards such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Dunland Crebain, and Misty Mountains Raider. Once an initial creature is on the board, Bolg enters to sacrifice that creature, destroy an opposing blocker with excess damage, and amass a formidable Goblin Army. The deck translates this board presence into lethal combat pressure through trample, deathtouch, and double strike enablers like Orcish Siegemaster, Gothmog, Morgul Lieutenant, and Dáin Ironfoot, backed by direct burn from Kazuul's Fury and Siege-Gang Commander. While the deck boasts strong creature removal and reliable engine recovery, its low baseline land count and reliance on a single vulnerable Army token leave it exposed to bounce effects, exile removal, and sweepers across its multi-turn combat clock.
