Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Atraxa, Praetors' Voice is the engine of a poison/proliferate deck that aims to put every opponent on a ten-poison clock. Early spells like Prologue to Phyresis and Infectious Inquiry spread the first counters, then Atraxa's end-step trigger and a dense package of proliferate spells raise those counters each turn. Toxic and infect creatures provide combat pressure and additional triggers. Secondary paths include the Innkeeper's Talent plus Vraska, Betrayal's Sting ultimate, and a late-game extra-turn lock with Contagion Engine, Magistrate's Scepter, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus. Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa acts as a hidden commander, offering a cheaper toxic body and card advantage once opponents are corrupted.
