Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf tribal synergies with an explosive Equipment Voltron strategy under Thorin Oakenshield. The primary game plan focuses on achieving an enduring story early through artifacts and legendary permanents, granting your board passive ward {1} protection. By pairing efficient equip-cost cheaters like Puresteel Paladin, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Hammer of Nazahn with high-impact armaments like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, the deck rapidly turns modest Dwarves into lethal threats. Dedicated card draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Kíli the Resourceful keep hand resources full during Equipment deployment. Combat steps quickly eliminate individual opponents while secondary damage amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Dáin of the Ancient Halls burn down the entire table. Robust defensive spells safeguard the board against board wipes, ensuring steady aggression.
