ATRAXA PHYREXIAN PENETRATOR

Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Atraxa, Praetors' Voice is the proliferate engine of a counter-and-blink deck. The primary plan is to land a quick Atraxa, double ETB triggers with Elesh Norn, Yarok, and Panharmonicon, and use flicker effects to generate value while piling +1/+1 counters. Secondary wins come from Simic Ascendancy and from Ouroboroid plus Branching Evolution making an enormous board. The true hidden commander is Yarok, the Desecrated, with Elesh Norn and Yorion supporting him, since the mana dorks and Atraxa mostly accelerate the clock. There is no trample-granting card, so combat finishes need flying, very large creatures, or the Simic Ascendancy trigger.
