Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck aims to generate overwhelming token armies and storm-like chain turns by casting numerous instants and sorceries each turn. Commander Rootha, Mastering the Moment, creates a large flying elemental token each combat if you've cast an instant or sorcery that turn, serving as both a value engine and a finisher. Secondary paths include copying spells with Rionya, Fire Dancer, or storming out with Prismari, the Inspiration, and an infinite mana combo between Birgi, God of Storytelling and Grinning Ignus. A dense interaction suite with 22 pieces, including 4 counterspells and 15 instant-speed effects, protects your game plan and disrupts opponents.
