Deck overview

This deck leverages a potent rules interaction between Ingris Stingerquill and the infect mechanic. Because Ingris specifies that the attacking creature itself deals 1 damage to each opponent upon attack declaration, any attacking creature with infect deals that noncombat damage in the form of poison counters. This allows the deck to bypass traditional combat damage steps, blockers, and fog effects, distributing poison counters to all three opponents simultaneously. Backed by damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, damage adders like Hawkeye, Young Avenger, and extra combat steps from Combat Celebrant, the deck can escalate poison counts rapidly from Turn 3 assembly to a Turn 5 onset and Turn 6 finish. Efficient protection spells like Deflecting Swat and strong sweepers like Toxic Deluge safeguard the board while keeping opposing boards clear.
