Squirrels, Squirrels, Squirrels Everywhere! by user7055772

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Squirrel-token swarm deck, helmed by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, is a relentless go-wide strategy that leverages Chatterfang's token-doubling ability to flood the board with 1/1 Squirrels. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage, boosted by anthems like Beastmaster Ascension and Coat of Arms, backed by a potent death-trigger drain suite (Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim). The deck also contains two infinite-combo lines: Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen to generate infinite Squirrels and counters, then drain via a Blood Artist effect; and Pitiless Plunderer + Ashnod's Altar with Chatterfang for infinite Treasure and sacrifice triggers. The commander also provides a flexible removal ability, sacrificing Squirrels to shrink or kill threats. The deck operates through heavy token generation, landfall triggers, and sacrifice synergies, aiming to win through either a wide combat step or a combo loop.
