Deck overview

This four-color control deck executes an exhibition game plan centered on donating Invasion Leech creatures and altering their text to create asymmetric color-based casting locks. By combining Alabaster Leech, Sapphire Leech, Ruby Leech, or Andradite Leech with donation effects like Donate, Zedruu the Greathearted, and Jon Irenicus, Shattered One, followed by text-changing spells like Mind Bend and Alter Reality, the deck forces a targeted opponent to pay mana colors they cannot produce. It backs this unusual lock with premium free countermagic including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, along with pillowfort enchantments and defensive fogs. While highly disruptive against single-target commanders, the deck lacks infinite combos and closes games through steady flying combat with Kraum, Ludevic's Opus, Blim, Comedic Genius, and goaded creatures, leading to a deliberate, high-interaction clock.
