Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner leads a mono-blue tempo deck combining Merfolk tribal aggression with a spellslinger token engine. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost Merfolk before casting Namor on Turn 3. Every blue noncreature spell cast thereafter creates 1/1 Merfolk tokens, rapidly increasing Namor's flying power while expanding the creature army. Evasion enablers like Lord of Atlantis and Harbinger of the Seas turn opposing lands into Islands, granting unblockable attacks across the table. Defensive countermagic such as Negate and Confound shields key pieces, while pacification auras like Encrust and Frozen in Ice neutralize opposing threats.
