Deck overview

This deck is a Temur token swarm and combat-draw strategy piloted by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates mana over the first three turns to deploy Xyris on Turn 4. On Turn 5, the deck attacks with Xyris, using cheap pump spells like Invigorate, Colossal Growth, or Groundswell to dramatically increase combat damage. When Xyris connects, both players draw cards equal to the damage dealt, triggering Xyris to create an equivalent army of 1/1 green Snake tokens while reloading your hand with fresh resources. On Turn 6, the deck converts this swarm into an immediate table kill using mass pump spells (Shared Animosity, Overrun), spell copying through Zada, Hedron Grinder, or group burn triggers from Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, and Witty Roastmaster. A dense suite of one-mana green hexproof and indestructible spells provides strong resilience against targeted removal.
