Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a midrange control and token-scaling engine built around amass triggers, Ring temptation, and Wraith synergies. The deck leverages Saurons passive abilities to amass massive Orc Armies whenever opponents cast spells, converting Ring-bearer combat damage into explosive wheel effects to refill your hand. Lord of the Nazgul and a package of nine Nazgul rapidly grow an evasive board that dominates combat. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming combat damage from massive Armies or Nazgul swarms, explosive life drains via Chandra's Ignition, burn from The Great Goblin, or devastating swings supported by high-impact legendary threats.
