ringwurm by luzen

Format: Commander

Commander: Baru, Wurmspeaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green Wurm tribal deck built around one idea: ramp far ahead of the table and crush opponents under enormous trampling Wurms. Baru, Wurmspeaker is a four-mana anthem that turns every Wurm into a trampling battering ram, and his activated ability becomes a near-free source of 4/4 Wurms once a truly huge Wurm like Worldspine Wurm is on the battlefield. The deck accelerates with land-search sorceries and cost reducers such as Emerald Medallion, Herald's Horn, and Urza's Incubator, then cheats creatures into play with Monster Manual, Monstrous Vortex, and Thunderous Debut. The primary win is combat damage, supercharged by Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Beastmaster Ascension. There are no infinite combos; instead the deck relies on massive, recursion-heavy beaters like Penumbra Wurm, Worldspine Wurm, and Crush of Wurms to grind through board wipes.
