Deck overview

Ingris Stingerquill leads an aggressive Rakdos infect and proliferate strategy that bypasses conventional combat math. Ingris possesses a triggered ability: whenever a creature you control attacks, that creature deals 1 damage to each opponent. Because damage dealt by a creature with infect is dealt as poison counters, attacking with any infect creature immediately gives every opponent a poison counter, regardless of blockers or combat damage. The deck curves early infect threats like Plague Stinger, Flensermite, and Ichorclaw Myr directly into Ingris on Turn 3. Once poison counters are distributed across the table, the deck accelerates the clock using global poison spells such as Ichor Rats and Phyresis Outbreak, supported by dedicated proliferate engines like Contagion Clasp, Staff of Compleation, and Throne of Geth. Efficient red and black interaction spells protect the board and disrupt opponents, allowing the deck to swiftly eliminate all three opponents simultaneously with ten poison counters.
