Deck overview

This mono-black midrange deck harnesses Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast to convert creature attrition into commanding combat threats. Early turns focus on deploying mana rocks, generating recurring creature tokens with Ophiomancer and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and establishing aristocrat sacrifice outlets. Once Vincent enters on Turn 4, targeted removal and edict effects eliminate opposing creatures, loading Vincent with +1/+1 counters. When Vincent attacks, he transforms into Galian Beast, crashing through defenses with trample and lifelink. Late-game payoffs like Massacre Wurm, Ghoulcaller Gisa, and Exsanguinate drain remaining life totals and seal the table finish. While the deck boasts resilient death-trigger recursion and potent creature removal, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed exile effects, artifact and enchantment threats, and aggressive combo strategies.
