Toph, Hardheaded Teacher by Hollowolfram

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, Hardheaded Teacher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, Hardheaded Teacher is the engine: every spell she casts animates a land, and Lesson spells put an extra counter on that land, while her ETB recurs an instant or sorcery. The primary plan is to ramp to high land counts, then turn lands into hasty attackers and pump them with landfall payoffs. Secondary paths are firebending attack mana into big X spells (Devil's Play) and a Darksteel Colossus haymaker. Avatar Kyoshi acts as a second Toph effect, but there is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Toph's earthbend and Lesson synergies. It wins through incremental combat, not a compact combo.
