Deck overview

This deck is a Simic spellslinger and token copy deck helmed by Quandrix, the Proof. The strategy focuses on accelerating through early mana ramp to cast the six-mana commander ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Quandrix grants cascade to every instant and sorcery cast from hand. The deck leverages non-legendary clone spells such as Irenicus's Vile Duplication, Quantum Misalignment, and Multiversal Recruitment to duplicate Quandrix. Each additional copy of Quandrix on the board adds another instance of cascade to subsequent spells, creating an exponential wave of free spells and high-flying 6/6 dragon threats. Supporting payoffs like Shark Typhoon, Deekah, Fractal Theorist, and Archmage of Runes convert this cascade storm into massive armies of fractal and shark tokens alongside substantial card advantage. While the deck lacks targeted tutors and proactive stax pieces, its overwhelming board development, heavy card velocity, and resilient backup engines allow it to overwhelm the table by Turn 8 through decisive aerial combat.
