Haldan/Pako Temur by user4027951

Format: Commander

Commander: Haldan, Avid Arcanist and Pako, Arcane Retriever

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Temur partner deck is built around Pako, Arcane Retriever as the primary engine and beater. Pako attacks with haste, exiles four cards per swing, and grows for every noncreature card; Haldan, Avid Arcanist is the secondary engine, turning Pako's fetch-counter pile into land drops, extra-combat sorceries, removal, and draw. The main plan is to connect with Pako repeatedly, then use extra combat effects and unblockable/double-strike tools to convert commander damage into a three-player kill. Backup paths use cast-from-exile triggers with Nalfeshnee, Wild-Magic Sorcerer, The Lost and the Damned, and token-makers to apply pressure if Pako is answered. There is no hidden commander; both partners are active, but Pako carries the deck.
