slinging spells and spawnin dragons by user3056715

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gloin the Mighty // Easy Pickings is a mono-red spellslinger deck that uses the commander's first-main-phase {R}{R} to turn every turn into a mini ritual. The adventure face, Easy Pickings, clears small blockers and triggers the same engines, but the creature face is the real engine. The deck wins by chaining cheap instants and sorceries through Ruby Medallion and Storm-Kiln Artist, draining with Guttersnipe and friends, and converting those spells into a flying Dragon army via Rite of the Dragoncaller. Grapeshot and direct burn close games once enough spells are on the stack. There is no hidden commander; The Scarlet Witch, Pyromancer's Goggles, and Birgi are supporting accelerants.
