Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon Tribal stompy engine led by Ureni of the Unwritten. The primary strategy focuses on deploying ramp during early turns to cast Ureni on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Ureni looks at the top eight cards of the library and cheats a massive Dragon onto the battlefield without paying its mana cost. With a dense suite of 27 Dragons, Ureni consistently hits game-ending threats like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Dragonlord Atarka. Supported by haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy, the deck rapidly translates raw power into lethal aerial combat damage across Turns 6 through 8. While the deck boasts immense board presence, steady card advantage, and solid recovery through high-cost redundancies, its lack of counterspells and protective spells leaves its multi-turn combat finish vulnerable to timely sweepers and spot removal.
