Format: Commander

Commander: Umbris, Fear Manifest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Umbris, Fear Manifest is both the engine and payoff of this Dimir Nightmare/Horror build: every ETB exiles cards and makes Umbris bigger. The main plan is to mill and exile broadly with crabs, Fractured Sanity, Maddening Cacophony, and Breach the Multiverse, then reset with Doomsday Excruciator and a cheap cleaner so opponents draw from empty libraries. Secondary paths use commander damage from an oversized Umbris, reanimation from Chainer/Gisa/Awakening Hall, and The Mindskinner as a hidden commander that turns combat damage into mill. The deck is flexible but slow, relying on incremental exile and recursion rather than a single unstoppable line.
