Deck overview

This Simic deck is helmed by Omo, Queen of Vesuva, utilizing everything counters to unify disparate land archetypes including Urza Tron, Locus lands, Gates, Deserts, and Caves into a single cohesive mana engine. By placing everything counters on key lands like Cloudpost and Baldur's Gate, the deck rapidly generates immense quantities of colorless and colored mana. This excess mana fuels high-impact landfall threats such as Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Hydra Broodmaster, alongside utility land combos like Dark Depths paired with Thespian's Stage. The deck exhibits robust recovery against creature board wipes because its core mana velocity is invested in difficult-to-interact lands. However, it suffers from light defensive shielding and interactive countermagic, leaving it exposed to fast combo decks and nonbasic land hate.
