Deck overview

This mono-black control deck uses Tinybones, the Pickpocket to convert symmetrical hand disruption into asymmetric card and mana advantage. By stripping opponents' hands with persistent discard engines like Bottomless Pit, Oppression, and Mindslicer, the deck starves the table of interaction. It then exploits full opposing graveyards using Tinybones to cast nonland permanents with open mana fixing. While opponents struggle in topdeck mode, the deck scales toward lethal life loss using damage multipliers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Archfiend of Despair, alongside drain effects like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. An incidental two-card infinite combo featuring Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank provides an alternate win condition. The deck excels at resource denial and grindy combat math, but it remains susceptible to artifact strategies and aggressive early wide boards.
