Deck overview

This deck is a synergy-focused Simic build led by The Astonishing Ant-Man, designed to convert steady card draw into +1/+1 counters and wide swarms of 1/1 Insect tokens. Early turns focus on deploying Ant-Man on Turn 2, followed by value engines and cantrips such as Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards, Cryogen Relic, and Lessons from Life. By Turn 4, Ant-Man begins generating tokens that feed into secondary draw triggers. In the midgame, the deck leverages scaling beaters like The Thing, Ben Grimm, Doc Samson, Super Psychiatrist, and Hercules, Prince of Power to build immense board presence. Trample and unblockable enablers such as Training Regimen, Falcon's Wing Harness, and Enter the Enigma ensure damage connects across opponent boards. The deck closes games between Turns 7 and 9 through overwhelming combat attacks, utilizing single-target tempo disruption and counterspells to navigate opposing interaction.
