Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Boros midrange engine that turns graveyard interaction into an aggressive board of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. Commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser, the deck leverages looting, self-mill, and exile-from-graveyard mechanics to generate a continuous stream of evasive, hard-hitting creatures. Rather than relying on traditional red-white combat burn or fragile all-in combos, it generates compounding card advantage using engines like Containment Construct, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, and Squee, Goblin Nabob. High-impact reanimators such as Sun Titan, Excava, the Risen Past, and Serra Paragon repeatedly trigger leave-graveyard abilities while recycling utility permanents. The deck protects its commander and token swarm through Guardian of Faith, Selfless Spirit, and Deification, culminating in decisive combat steps powered by Quintorius's double strike loyalty ability, Balefire Liege, or Moonshaker Cavalry to overrun the entire table.
