Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura and political forced-combat strategy helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The plan focuses on suiting up both your own threats and key opposing creatures with Auras to steer combat away from your life total. Killian provides immediate tempo by tapping and goading opposing threats whenever an enchantment enters, while rewarding attacks by enchanted creatures with steady card draw. Pillowfort elements like Ghostly Prison and Nils, Discipline Enforcer deter retaliation, forcing opponents into lethal skirmishes with one another. Meanwhile, secondary enchantress engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor maintain hand velocity. As opponents wear each other down, the deck pivots into decisive combat finishes using Archon of Sun's Grace, Eidolon of Countless Battles, or asymmetric drain from Eriette of the Charmed Apple to sweep the remaining players.
