Rise of the Elven King (Copy) by scoundrellll

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck uses Thranduil, the Elvenking as a graveyard toolbox and card engine. Thranduil copies activated abilities of Elves in your graveyard and draws two and discards one when another legendary Elf enters. The primary plan wins with Thassa's Oracle after exiling your library with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Secondary wins use Chain of Smog with Witherbloom Apprentice to drain the table, or infinite mana from Elf mana dorks with Staff of Domination. Eladamri, Korvecdal and Marwyn act as hidden commanders that provide card advantage and mana. The deck plays like a cEDH Elfball control deck that tutors quickly and protects its win.
