Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Loki, God of Lies, turning low-cost single-target combat tricks and cantrips into repeated Threaten effects. By targeting opposing creatures with 1-mana spells like Expedite, Ancestral Anger, and Crimson Wisps, Loki immediately gains control of those creatures, untaps them, and gives them haste. The strategy leverages the best threats controlled by opponents, attacks with them, and uses sacrifice outlets such as Goblin Bombardment, Fling, and Thud to prevent opponents from getting their creatures back. Mana ramp like Ruby Medallion and Runaway Steam-Kin fuels rapid multi-spell turns. While the list possesses explosive burst damage and strong card cycling, it depends heavily on Loki remaining on the board and requires opponents to field viable creature targets.
