This Golgari (B/G) deck is helmed by Aphelia, Viper Whisperer and built around a snake/gorgon tribal token swarm. The primary game plan is to generate a critical mass of deathtouch snake tokens through the commander's attack trigger, amplified by token doublers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives. Once the board is sufficiently wide, the commander's activated ability-causing each opponent dealt combat damage by a snake or gorgon to lose half their life (rounded up)-is used to eliminate players over a few combat steps.
