Deck overview

This Dimir deck leverages Satoru Umezawa to cheat massive, game-ending threats into play for a flat cost of {2}{U}{B}. Early turns establish cheap, unblockable creatures like Changeling Outcast and Mist-Cloaked Herald. Once Satoru enters on Turn 3, any unblocked attack on Turn 4 allows you to activate ninjutsu, putting devastating payoffs such as Shredder, Shadow Master, Agent of Treachery, or Silent-Blade Oni onto the battlefield tapped and attacking while triggering Satoru's card selection. The primary win line uses Shredder, Shadow Master to generate attacking copies against each opponent, halving their life totals on contact and finishing the table across two combat cycles by Turn 6. Transmute tutors like Muddle the Mixture and Brainspoil provide consistent access to key tools. If Satoru is removed, the deck seamlessly transitions into a native Ninja burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, weaponizing the deck's high-cost bombs to drain the table.
