Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Vivi Ornitier, using its commander to generate explosive mana and deal direct damage whenever noncreature spells are cast. Dense fast mana acceleration accelerates early deployment, landing Vivi on Turn 2 or 3. Attaching Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout turns every noncreature spell into 3 fresh cards, powering storm turns and digging toward compact win conditions. The primary win condition is an infinite untap loop with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, which triggers Vivi to burn out all opponents in a single turn. Secondary routes include Underworld Breach with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, backed by a suite of free countermagic like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship. Incidental land destruction and creature bounce provide disruption while assembling the winning combination.
