Deck overview

This Golgari deck is commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General and focuses on a token-based aristocrats strategy. The primary game plan accelerates early mana to deploy Chatterfang on Turn 3, followed by token engines such as Academy Manufactor, Tireless Provisioner, and Witch's Oven on Turn 4. Every token created generates an accompanying 1/1 Squirrel, quickly building a wide board. The deck leverages these tokens for board control using Chatterfang's -X/-X ability and scales into a win on Turn 6 through mass drain effects like Mirkwood Bats and Bastion of Remembrance, or combat buffs via Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. An infinite combo with Pitiless Plunderer provides an alternate instant-kill line. The deck features strong permanent removal and solid recovery, but remains vulnerable to exile-based board sweepers and noncreature stack interaction.
