Deck overview

Giada, Font of Hope turns early Angel deployment into the deck's main source of mana and board scaling. The normal plan is to cast Giada, Font of Hope early, develop cost reduction through Pearl Medallion, Starnheim Aspirant, or Urza's Incubator, and build a flying board. Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, Archangel of Thune, and Flowering of the White Tree convert life gain and counters into substantial combat power. Folk Hero, Inspiring Overseer, Exemplar of Light, and Firemane Commando help replace cards. The deck can protect a developed board with Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Akroma's Will, while Ghostly Prison and Archangel of Tithes discourage attacks. Its main weakness is that it needs several turns and multiple permanents before combat becomes decisive. It has no compact win combo, no broad tutor package, and no reliable all-opponents finish from ordinary execution.
