Tia Ool by vite

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counter deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, who converts every -1/-1 counter placement into a card draw (on your creatures) or a point of life loss (on opponents' creatures). The deck leans on proliferate, wither, and a dense package of counter payoffs - Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, Obelisk Spider, The Scorpion God, and Blowfly Infestation - to generate tokens, drain life, and chain counters across the board. It wins through a handful of infinite combos (Murderous Redcap + Viscera Seer + Nesting Grounds; Blowfly Infestation + Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons + a drain piece; Devoted Druid + Quillspike) or by grinding opponents down with drain effects and a wide token board. The commander is the deck's primary card-advantage engine, making her a removal magnet, but the combos themselves live entirely in the 99.
