Format: Commander

Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is a sacrifice finisher for an elf-ball that floods the board with mana dorks and +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is to make a single Elf enormous-most efficiently by looping Umbral Mantle on Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania-then sacrifice it to Jarad to drain every opponent. Secondary paths use Abomination of Llanowar as a Jarad payload, double counters to push combat damage, and Defense of the Heart to cheat out Elvish Archdruid plus a fat elf. Elvish Archdruid is the practical hidden commander. The deck has no double-faced cards and no backup commander; Jarad can return from the graveyard, making him a reusable sacrifice outlet.
