Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by King of the Oathbreakers, focusing on Spirit tribal synergies, go-wide token swarms, and phasing tricks. The deck weaponizes multi-target spells like Divine Resilience, Rabid Attack, and The Eagles Are Coming! to target its own Spirits, triggering King of the Oathbreakers to phase them out safely. When these Spirits phase back in on the following untap step, the commander creates a tapped 1/1 flying Spirit token for each returning creature, rapidly doubling the board state. The deck finishes games through evasive aerial combat bolstered by tribal anthems such as Coat of Arms, Banner of Kinship, and Moonshaker Cavalry. Built-in spell evasion on the commander is backed by top-tier phasing protection like Clever Concealment and Guardian of Faith. While it lacks heavy tutoring and fast mana, it delivers resilient midgame pressure and excellent durability against opposing removal.
