Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheel and Group Slug strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan focuses on deploying symmetrical draw punishers such as Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Underworld Dreams before resolving mass-draw and discard spells like Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune, and Reforge the Soul. Each wheel deals massive bursts of non-combat damage to all opponents simultaneously while disrupting their sculptured hands. Resource engines like Waste Not and Bone Miser convert opponent discards into huge mana and card surpluses, allowing the deck to chain multiple spells in a single turn. The deck also features devastating asymmetric locks via Notion Thief and Tergrid, God of Fright, which turn wheel effects into complete hand-stripping blowouts.
