Deck overview

This is a Dimir surveil-reanimator midrange deck helmed by Mirko, Obsessive Theorist. The plan is to surveil relentlessly-growing Mirko, stocking the graveyard, and filtering draws-then use his end-step trigger to reanimate ever-larger threats under finality counters. Primary wins come from combat with reanimated haymakers (Grave Titan, Massacre Wurm, Doom Whisperer, Junji, the Midnight Sky) backed by drain payoffs (Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Starving Revenant). Support engines like Matoya, Archon Elder, River Kelpie, and Satoru, the Infiltrator convert surveil and free enters into card advantage. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through attrition, recursive value, and eventual board pressure. Ultimecia, Time Sorceress offers a situational extra turn as a late closer. Mirko is the primary reanimation engine but not the sole path-several backup recursion outlets keep the plan alive if he is answered.
