Deck overview

This Temur Lands deck focuses on converting rapid mana velocity and land recursion into overwhelming board states. Commanded by Borborygmos and Fblthp, the deck uses its commander primarily as a card-draw and creature-removal engine by pitching lands that it subsequently recovers from the graveyard. Early turns establish mana acceleration through low-cost land enablers like Exploration, Lotus Cobra, and Wrenn and Six. By Turn 4, the deck deploys compounding recursion engines such as Crucible of Worlds, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, or Nissa, Resurgent Animist. Critical onset arrives on Turn 5 through explosive mass-landfall spells like Scapeshift or Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, creating massive token armies with Field of the Dead, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Titania, Protector of Argoth or triggering direct burn with Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. A robust package of free countermagic, flexible removal, and protection like Sylvan Safekeeper ensures high resilience and a Turn 6 combat finish.
