Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari aristocrats and land-recursion strategy helmed by Baba Lysaga, Night Witch. The game plan revolves around playing multi-type permanents—such as artifact lands, enchantment creatures, and animated land auras—to fulfill Baba Lysaga's activation condition of sacrificing three distinct card types in a single action. Once online, Baba Lysaga draws three cards, drains three life from each opponent, and gains three life every turn. The deck leverages this flow of resources through graveyard land recursers like Ramunap Excavator and Perennial Behemoth, while converting land and permanent sacrifices into massive armies via Titania, Protector of Argoth and Killer Service. Opponents are steadily ground down by aristocrat drain effects like Marionette Apprentice and Nadier's Nightblade before being overwhelmed by combat damage or finished with a large Exsanguinate.
