Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Golgari aristocrats and token combo list commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The strategy centers on leveraging Chatterfang's passive token replacement ability to turn any token generation into an army of 1/1 green Squirrels. These tokens serve as ammunition for board control, fodder for explosive draw engines like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and fuel for infinite sacrifice loops. The deck features decisive combo lines, primarily utilizing Pitiless Plunderer or Warren Soultrader alongside aristocrat payoffs like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Marionette Apprentice to drain the entire table in a single turn. A deep suite of creature tutors ensures reliable assembly by Turn 4, while alternate win conditions such as Earthcraft with Squirrel Nest or an overwhelming Craterhoof Behemoth overrun provide robust backup plans against disruption.
