Skullbriar, the Walking Grave is a Golgari voltron commander built around converting every point of combat damage into +1/+1 counters that persist through zones. The deck aims to cast Skullbriar by turn two, then deploy counter multipliers and pump spells to make a single trampling hit lethal. Backup plans include winning with other huge hydras and beaters when Skullbriar is unavailable or answered. The commander's haste lets the deck begin attacking immediately, and a suite of instant protection, recursion, and trample effects keeps the main threat alive long enough to eliminate all three opponents. It is a classic 'one big creature' game plan with counter synergy.
