Deck overview

This deck leverages Illuna, Apex of Wishes at the head of a Temur combo engine centered on mutate triggers and high-mana payoffs. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through low-cost land ramp and Talismans while generating cheap, non-Human creature tokens using cards like Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, Awakening Zone, and Urabrask's Forge. On Turn 4, Illuna mutates onto a token, bypassing mana costs to cheat impactful nonland permanents into play. The primary path to victory involves assembling an infinite mana engine using Palinchron alongside mana multipliers like Mana Reflection or Nyxbloom Ancient. Once infinite mana is online, Palinchron repeatedly returns itself and Illuna to hand, allowing repeated mutate triggers that place every nonland permanent from the library directly onto the battlefield. Finishers like Impact Tremors and Warstorm Surge convert these repeated entries into immediate, table-wide lethal damage in a single uninterrupted turn.
