Deck overview

This Mardu deck is commanded by Fire Lord Zuko, focusing on weaponizing the exile zone to generate continuous combat buffs and wide board pressure. By chaining impulse draw, foretell, plot, and adventure spells, the deck repeatedly triggers Zuko's ability to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire creature army. Attack-triggered firebending mana offsets the mana cost of exiled cards during combat phases. Token generators like Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival, Iraxxa, Empress of Mars, and Appa, Steadfast Guardian flood the board, while Abzan Falconer provides aerial evasion to bypass opposing blockers. The deck supports this aggressive engine with efficient Mardu spot removal and flexible sweepers such as Ruinous Ultimatum and Avatar's Wrath.
