Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counters and token-generation deck helmed by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The core loop is elegant: draw cards to grow Ant-Man, convert his counters into 1/1 Insect tokens with his activated ability, then double both counters and tokens for an overwhelming board. The deck leans heavily on counter-doublers like Shang-Chi, Martial Mentor and Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, token doublers like Second Harvest and For the Common Good, and explosive mana from Enduring Vitality plus Badgermole Cub. It wins primarily through combat with trampling, doubled creatures, but also carries alternate lines in Altar of Dementia mill and Mathemagics decking. The draw suite is genuinely strong - Rhystic Study, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Future Sight, and Uncover the Moon-Letters - but the deck has almost no tutors, so it relies on natural draws to assemble its synergy pieces.
