Commander: Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a focused Boros Equipment Voltron deck built around the partner pair of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. Rograkh is a free, evasive 0/1 with first strike, menace, and trample - the ideal cheap carry - while Ardenn attaches any number of Auras and Equipment for free at the start of combat. The plan is to stack power-boosting equipment (Colossus Hammer, Wrecking Ball Arm, Aettir and Priwen) and damage multipliers (True Conviction, Gratuitous Violence) onto Rograkh and close via commander damage. The deck is unusually deep in redundancy: Beatrix, Loyal General, Armory Automaton, and Brass Squire replicate Ardenn's attachment, and a heavy recursion package (Open the Vaults, Wake the Past, Forge Anew) rebuilds the board after wipes. Backup threats include Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon token swarms and Mjolnir, Storm Hammer burn.
