Deck overview

This is an Abzan Food/token combo deck built around the Partner pair Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant. The primary plan is to generate a surplus of Food tokens, convert that Food into card advantage and mana, then pivot into one of the deck's many infinite loops - most often finishing with a drain effect like Mirkwood Bats or Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. Secondary wins include the classic Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood loop and, when the Ring has tempted enough, Frodo, Sauron's Bane as a one-shot kill. Sam provides the engine's backbone by creating a Food each combat and discounting Food activations, while Frodo turns early life gain into Ring tempts and extra cards. The 99 is packed with overlapping token/value pieces such as Peregrin Took, Experimental Confectioner, Academy Manufactor, and Rosie Cotton of South Lane, making the deck substantially redundant and resilient.
