Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai kindred aggro build commanded by Captain America, Team Leader. The game plan revolves around casting early mana rocks to deploy Captain America on Turn 3, followed by a steady curve of Hero creatures. Whenever another Hero enters the battlefield, Captain America grants it vigilance, haste, and a +1/+1 counter, while growing himself. This enables immediate combat pressure and card advantage through damage-trigger engines like Araña, Heart of the Spider, SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, and Biorganic Carapace. In the mid game, tribal amplifiers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Door of Destinies, and Captain America, Wings of Freedom scale the team's combat output into lethal territory. High-value defensive tools like Teferi's Protection and Spectacular Spider-Man ensure the wide board survives opposing sweepers, allowing the deck to systematically eliminate opponents in successive combat steps by Turn 8.
