Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Dina, Essence Brewer at the helm of an aristocrats and lifegain strategy. It focuses on producing continuous token fodder through cards like Ophiomancer and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, converting those bodies into card advantage and life via Dina and other sacrifice outlets. As the board develops, drain pieces such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats steadily reduce opposing life totals. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by resolving high-impact finishers like Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest or Blossoming Bogbeast, which turn sacrifice triggers and life gain into massive board-wide combat buffs. A robust suite of versatile Golgari removal spells keeps threatening opposing permanents in check throughout the game.
