Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on Voltron and exalted combat strategies centered around its commander, Yuriko, Blade of the Mighty. Yuriko brings two powerful abilities to the table: an asymmetric combat silence that prevents all players from casting spells or activating non-mana abilities during combat, and a trigger granting double strike to any creature that attacks alone. The deck leverages hyper-efficient equipment like Colossus Hammer and Blackblade Reforged alongside attach-cost bypass engines like Sigarda's Aid, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, and Puresteel Paladin. By cheating large stat-boosting equipment onto Yuriko, the deck presents lethal commander damage as early as Turn 4 or 5 without fear of combat tricks or instant-speed removal. Robust protection suites including Flawless Maneuver and Dawn's Truce safeguard the board outside of combat, while targeted exile removal like Swords to Plowshares efficiently clears blockers and opposing threats.
