Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm commands an explosive Temur Dragon tribal deck that combines rapid mana acceleration with massive board presence and direct damage. The game plan focuses on deploying two-mana ramp spells early to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. On Turn 5, casting any large Dragon triggers Miirym to create a nonlegendary token copy, doubling the creature's immediate impact. Direct damage engines like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest turn these entries into instant board clears and life-total pressure. Combat enablers such as Atarka, World Render and Utvara Hellkite quickly translate doubled Dragons into lethal flying attacks. The list also contains an infinite combat loop using Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault to close games on the spot. Free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship shield the commander when tapping out, ensuring the deck executes its high-velocity stompy strategy reliably.
